Financial Products and Services was founded on November 2, 1987, by a Salem, Oregon family looking to serve the community. The company began by selling life insurance, health insurance, and retirement plans.
Over the years, activities and employees of the company have changed, and Financial Products and Services continues to evolve in becoming a better equipped company each year. We have transitioned from the financial-specific products and services into providing a variety of services to other small businesses.

In the new logo, there are stairs which represent our desire to be "Always Changing, Always Improving". Also, stairs are used by people, so this is why FPS is in the middle of the staircase, symbolizing that we are not only strengthening our growth, but those in our community as well. The leaf represents our desire to grow towards being more environmentally conscientious. And finally, the green represents both the dedication to the environment as well as our dedication to the shareholders.
